Valeria Louise "MAW" Fields, 87, Dante, the last surviving member of her family, died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the home of her daughter, Kim and Paul Sperow in Castlewood. She was born in Scott County; daughter Of the late Carl and Sophia Dingus Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lee "Billy" Fields, Sr.; one daughter, Janice Johnson; one son, Howard Lee "Bill" Fields, Jr.; one brother, Taft Johnson; and five sisters, Juanita Ervin, Ann Tipton, Clinas Kilgore, Clara Hileman, and Carol Jennings. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a member of Straight Hollow Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by six daughters, Linda McClellan of Castlewood, Charlene Clark and hus- band, Lloyd of Mendota, Cheryl Keith and husband, Darnell, Jr. of Dante, Dianna Eaton and husband, Sam of Castlewood, Kimberly Sperow and hus- band, Paul of Castlewood, and Fonda Fields - Ogburn and husband, Tony of Emporia; three sons, Jock Fields and wife, Sonia of Dante, Michael Fields and wife, Shelia of Castlewood, and George Fields and wife, Connie of Dante; two special grand- children, Randy Kilgore and wife, Angy of Marion, North Carolina, a d// Valerie Kilgore Hileman and husband, Dave of St. Paul; one daughter-in-law, Luan Fields of Rex, Georgia; several grandchil- dren; several great grand- children; several great- great grandchildren; sever- al nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Valeria Louise "MAW" Fields will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2014 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, with Rev. D. J. Couch and Rev. Steven Lester officiating. Committal Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2014 in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood. Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Pallbearers will be Grandsons. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2014 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood. The family wants to giye special thanks" to aides, Tammy Phillips and Sarah McReynolds, Home Nursing Care in Lebanon, Carol, Angela, Janet, Steven, Shauna and Dr. Paul Phillips.
