Linda was a popular, elegant, social person who was a great conversationalist and known for her quick wit. After retiring, Linda had more time to enjoy her many interests including tennis, golf, cooking, danc- ing, reading, traveling, and art. But most of all she loved her daughter and grandchildren. She is sur- vived by her daughter Heather Welsh, ex-spouse Kenneth Watkins, two grandchildren Hayden and India, life partner David Shell, numerous cousins, and friends. A grave site service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Ring's Cemetery located on Copper Ridge Road in Castlewood, VA. Linda's cremated remains will rest next to her parent's grave. and integrity - served her great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all.
