Castle, 77, died Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tennessee. He was born in Scott County, Virginia, son of the late Ed and Jane Clark Castle. He was preceded in death by one sister, Sue Couch. He attended Straight Hollow Freewill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Castle; two daughters, Nina Castle White and husband, John of Abingdon, Virginia and Rhonda Castle Anderson and husband, Brian of Abingdon, Virginia; one son, Shane Castle and wife, Michelle of Castlewood, Virginia; one sister, Brenda Herndon and husband, Bud of Castlewood, Virginia; six grandchildren, Nikki Combs, Amanda Sells, Emily Castle, Ben Anderson, Sophia Couch, and Haley Anderson Hilliard; four great grand- children, Jackson Combs, Ava Combs, Camilla Sells and Nathan Sells; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Glen R. Castle will be con- ducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Darnell Keith and Rev. Ted Bryant officiat- ing. Committal Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2016 in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia. Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2016. Pallbearers will be Brian Anderson, John White, Mike Winebarger, Ralph Maples, Jim Holbrook, Jerry Holbrook, Eugene Mullins and Josh Combs. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. October 4, 2016 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
