Jennifer was preceded in death by her father Warren H. Dingus, mother, Rilda Hale and sister, Christine Miller. She is survived by her brother Tony Dingus of Castlewood, Virginia; two sisters, Annette Miller of Coeburn, Virginia and Donna Miller of Richmond, Virginia. The Southwest Virginia Community College Annual Scholarship Golf Classic will be held on Thursday, September 25th at 1:00 P.M. at Tazewell County Country Club. This year's toumament is the 23rd Anniversary of this popular event that began as a celebration of SWCC's 25th anniversary in 1992. Over the years, thousands of dollars of scholarships have been awarded from the proceeds of the tournament. This year's tournament . is being played in memory and celebration of the life of Eddie Barber, who was a proud supporter of the SWCC Golf Classic. An alumnus of SWCC, Eddie enjoyed the friendly and competitive atmosphere of the tournament organizers and participants. Eddie was keenly aware of the enor- mous impact these scholar- ships have on the lives of students. Eddie's family, Peggy, Jason, Jill and Derrick, brother J,C, sharon and Jann, will be supporting the tournament as sponsors and players. SWCC's tournament also provides the opportu- nity for participants to win excellent prizes.
