Artwork of Barbara Bell Barbara Bell exhibits artwork at SWCC Southwest Virginia Com- munity College presents a new art exhibit from July 29-August 26. "The Peace of Wild Things" by Barbara Bell, utilizes the poem by Wendell Berry (of the same title) as inspiration for this body of works. His poem in- spires peace and freedom from despair while in the presence of nature, as does Bell's pastoral landscapes filled with images of her beloved valley in Tanners- ville, Virginia. Bell inherited her creativity, love of animals, natures and the land from generations that came before her.
