Thursday, June 30, 2016 Page 3 Brandon Gray charged Church and related activities with possession of methamphetamine According to Chief Bo Phillips, on 06/24/2016 around 00:30 hours Officer Stanley with St Paul PD along with Deputy Turner from Wise County S.O. and Deputy Nash with Russell County S. O. went to a residence on Highland Ave in the Town of St Paul to serve fugitive warrants on a subject by the name of Brandon Gray from the Castlewood section of Russell County. When offi- cers pulled up to the resi- dence Gray jumped out a window from the residence and attempted to flee on foot. After a short chase Gray was apprehended and during the search of his person and residence, a large amount of metham- phetamine was found along with syringes and narcotic pills. Gray was transported to the Wise County Sheriff's Office Justice Center and Officer Stanley charged Gray with the following: The Wise County Sheriff's Office reports the 1. Felony Count - Possess more than 10 grams of Methamphetamine 2. Felony County - Possession of Schedule I or II controlled substance 3. Misdemeanor Count - Obstruction of Justice 4. Misdemeanor Count - Possession of drug paraphernalia Gray was also served on outstanding Capias war- rants from Russell County and Wise County. Gray is currently being held with- out bond in the Duffield Regional Jail. Chief Phillips would like to thank the Wise County Sheriff's Office and Russell County Sheriff's Office.
