Her grandmother is Glenda Williams. Korey h~ts two sisters - Morgan and Kalyn Purtee. Korey has been award- ed many scholarships, including a Chemistry scholarship through the University of Virginia's College at Wise. Korey plans to attend University of Virginia's College at Wise where she will major in Chemistry. Korey plans to pursue a career in foren- sic science. James Walker Long is the Salutatorian of Castlewood High School for the Class of 2014. Walker is the son of Tim and Susan Long. His grandparents are Jim and Brenda Long and Jim and Mildred Hicks. Walker has one sister, Tori Long. Walker has been award- ed many scholarships, including the Trustee's Scholarship and the Bonners Scholarship from Emory & Henry College. Walker plans to attend Emory & Henry College where he will pursue a degree in physical therapy. From Page 1 ..... The Clinch Valley Yearly Association will be at Castle Church at Dungannon, Va., on Fri. and Sat. before the Second Sunday of May, which is the 12th and 13th at 10 o'clock. Mrs. Roger Harris and daughter, Robin, of Camden, Tenn. have returned home after a visit with her Summer Ann Cook, the daughtrr of Tracy Minton and the late Lester Cook, is a Castlewood High School honor graduate. Her grandparents are Betty and Sammy Salyer. She has one sister - Skylar Minton. Summer has been awarded many scholar- ships, including the Blankenship/Justice Scholarship. Summer plans to attend Mountain Empire Community College pursuing a degree in Respiratory Therapy. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, she plans to pursue a career as a respiratory therapist. Caitlin Danielle Phillips, the daughter of Tracy and Tammie Phillips, is a Castlewood High School honor stu- dent. Her grandparents are Joyce and Ted Phillips and Faye Salyers. Caitlin has received several academic awards and scholarships through- out her high school career, including the Crockett Academic Merit Scholarship. She plans to attend University of Virginia's College at Wise and major in computer sci- ence. Upon completion of her bachelor's degree, Caitlin plans to pursue a career in computer engi- neering. Kaitlyn Dawn Jenkins, the daughter of Randy and Roxie Jenkins, is a Castlewood High School honor graduate. Her grandmother is Mary Jane Jenkins. Kaitlyn has one sister - Helen Sutherland and one brother - RJ Jenkins. Kaitlyn has been awarded many scholar- ships, including the Blankenship/Justice Scholarship and the AIMS Scholarship. Kaitlyn plans to attend Southwest Virginia Community College and major in Occupational Therapy. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, she plans to pursue a career as an occupational therapist. Olivia Justine Cook~ the daughter of George Cook, is a Castlewood High School honor graduate. Her grandmother is Connie Selfe. Olivia has been award- ed many scholarships, including the C-Health Medical Scholarship. Olivia will attend Virginia Tech in the Fall 2014 and plans to pursue a degree in pry-medicine.
