My parents gre~v up in the sa~ne stnall, town, and "all tour of my grandparents' graves are there, as well as the plots of extended famil): All of ~ny grandparents, and all. of their siblings (my great aunts and uncles), are now gone, and so there is no denying the fact that my parents" generation will be the next to "make the journey home," as it were. When my paternal grandfather died, I distinctly remember having the re~lization of how important it was for there to be an af~erli~b, because I really wanted to see him again. As we get older and lose more of our family we realize daat we have farnily in two different realms, the here and the herea~Tter. None of us ksao~vs exactly what awaits us after death. That is just not part of the cosmic plan. Going to the family graves, especially in the company of your family, with all of the generations present, confirnas that life does indeed go on, and provides hope and comfort that those who have gone be~bre us await our homecoming. -- Christopher Simon i WE LOVE THIS ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH OF CHRIST CONGREGATIONAL .,CO IUNIT !
