The 9-10 Band received a very high Division II, while being judged on the same criteria as 9-12 bands. The 11-12 Band received a solid Division I; resulting in their 27th consecutive Division I rating at State. The 9-10 band performed Ignition, by Todd Stalter; Night Dances, by Bruce Yurko and Brighton Beach, by William Latham. The 11-12 performed Esprit De Corps, by Robert Jager and Danza No. 2, by Bruce Yurko. Norwalk band staff: Carroll Hardy, Carrie Krupke, Jeff Heltman, Nick Menke and Ken Huen. Photo submitted. The" Lady Warriors track team was very fortu- nate to participate in two track meets the week of April 22. Monday, April 22, the girls traveled to Winterset to win a 12-team rain-soaked meet. Thurs- day, April 25, the team traveled to Carlisle to cap- ture another victory win- ning the class A division of the Carlisle Invitational. Not only did the Lady Warriors win the meet, but Sarah Adams broke the 800 school record by run- ning a 2:23.44. It was a great week for the Lady Warriors!
