Students involved in SOL testing are required to be in school. Students who do not have an SOL test during a testing period do not have to attend school, but may choose to do so. Students who attend Russell County Career & Technology Center will be excused if they do not have to take a test on a given day. However, the bus will run both morning (8:30) and afternoon (12:30) each day and Russell County Career & i Technology Center students who are preserrt will be required to attend their classes at the vocational school. Students will not be permit- ted to check out during a testing period. If he/she does not have an afternoon SOL test, he/she may check out at 11:30 AM (after the test period is over, regardless of the time the test is finished.) Parents wishing to pick up their children after the AM test period may do so at ll:30AM. Students wishing to check out must have a note signed by their parent with them or a parent must call the school granting, permission for their child to leave. Students will not be allowed to call home to make arrangements for checkout. Regular rules governing at- tendance will go into effect on Monday, May 20, 2013. At that time, all students are to resume their regular schedule.
