(SWEETIE, BOOT JACK, JUNIOR) James Thomas (Tom) Robinson, Jr. age 62, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at his home. Tom was born May 27, 1953 in Lebanon, a son of James Thomas Robinson ST., and Betty Lasley Robinson. He was a gradu- ate of Lebanon High School class of 1971 and Clinch Valley College in 1975. He received a Bachelors in History, and two Masters Degrees, one from Radford University in Administration and Supervision and a Masters from Emory & Henry College in History. Tom was employed by the Russell School Board for 37 years, retiring in 2012. He had served in many positions, retiring as assis- tant principal of Belfast- Elk Garden. He was a member of Willis Chapel United Methodist Church. Tom was loved by all and he loved all especially the elderly and children. In addition to his par- ents he was preceded in death by one brother: John Robert Robinson; a special grandmother-in-law: Princess Annie Lowe. Survivors include his wife of 12 years: Anna Faye Hubbard Lambert Robinson; a daughter at heart: .Susan Robinson Butler; four sons: Timothy Jerry Lambert and wife Maribel, Warner Robins, GA; Matthew Brian Lambert and wife Laura Smyrna, T/q; Nathanael David Lambert, Honaker; and Samuel Lee Lambert and wife Kim, Honaker; five grandchildren: Toni and Isabella, Gage, Marcus and Carrick Lambert; one sister: Sharon Robinson Dixon and husband Joe and daughters Julie and Jill, Lebanon; one brother: Jerry A. Robinson and wife Tammy L. and four daugh- ters Jeff, Shannon, Sandi and Amy, Kingsport, TN; sister-in-law: Betty C. Robinson and daughter Susan, Lebanon; mother and father-in-law: Furley L.C. Hubbard and Nancy Lowe Hubbard, Cedar Bluff; five great- nieces; four great-nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins survive. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 am Saturday, March 19, 2016 in the Combs. Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Bill Cahill and the Rev. Gary Michael Roberts officiating. Burial will fol= low in the Russell Memorial Cemetery in Lebanon. The family will receive friends after 6 pm Friday March 18, 2016 at the funeral .home. Family and friends will serve as Charlie W. Boothe, Jr. (Sweetie, Boot Jack, Junior), 71, Castlewood, died Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was born in McDowell County, West Virginia; son of the late Charlie Boothe, ST. and Virginia Jones. He was preceded in death by one sister, Eloise O'Quinn; and one brother, David Boothe. He was a retired coal miner with Clinchfield Coal Company. He was a mem- ber of St. Paul United Methodist Church in St. Paul, Virginia. He was a cherished husband, beloved father, grandfa- ther, and great grandfather as well as a great friend to many. He never met a stranger and was not afraid to speak his mind. He loved spending time with his family, friends, and of course his dog, Pansy. Sweetie was jack of all trades and always tinkered with lawnmowers, weed eaters, cars or he could be found building something in his wood working shop. Charlie is going to be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Linda T. Boothe; his children, Lester Boothe and wife, Beth, Stephen Phillips, Leo Boothe and wife, Kim, Patricia Boothe and husband, Mike Donadio, Lisa Boothe and wife, Beth, and Jimmy "Spud" Phillips and wife, Kim; his grandchildren, Cassie Miller and husband, Justin, Sasha Dennison, John Phillips, Shawna Boardwine and husband, Bradley, Stephanie Woods, Jordan Barr, Shannon Boothe, and Zane Wilson; his great grandchildren, Kayden Boardwine, Brooklynn Boardwine, Autumn Dennison, and Elijah Breedlove; his sis- ters and brothers, Cora Harffngton, Rosa Sheppard and husband, Ran, Brenda Boothe, Carolyn Baldwin and husband, John, Donald Bo0the and wife, Irene, and Victor Whitt; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Charlie W. Boothe, Jr. (Sweetie, Boot Jack, Junior) will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2016 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, with Rev. Harry Layell officiat- ing. Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood. Pallbearers will be Richard Jessee, Chub Crowder, Harry Hall, Travis Mullins, Darrell Holbrook, and Joe Kirk. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Henry, Roger Dotson, Buddy Couch, Don Gilbert, and Roy Couch.
