Thursday, March 10, 2016 Page 7 King University announces summer 2016 Graduate, Professional, and Online Studies Programs ,4 4 This summer, working adults in Tennessee and Southwest V-trginia will have the opportunity to complete their associate, bachelor's, or master's degree from King University. King offers programs specifically designed with the adult learner in mind through the University's Graduate, Professional, and Online Studies Programs (GPS) as well as numerous courses for students who wish to transition from an associate degree to a bachelor's degree. "It has never been a better time for working adults to return to school to pursue their degree," says Micah Crews, associate vice president of Enrollment Management. "Whether they attend one night a week in one of our 14 locations or completely online, they can complete their major coursework in as little as 16 months. This allows them the balance they need for work arid fam- ily, as well as the opportunity to achieve a goal that could launch their careers in a whole new direction." Adults who are' beginning to pursue a college degree or who have completed fewer than 60 semester hours of coursework will benefit from participating in King's Pathway program. Offered at the University's Bristol and Knoxville campuses as well as online, Pathway allows students to complete all general education and elective requirements so they can smoothly transition into their degree coursework. The summer 2016 GPS degree offerings for Bristol include Pathway and baccalaureate degrees in Business Administration, Applied Science, Information Technology, and Interdisciplinary Studies• Master's pro- grams include Education and professional Business Administration. The Bachelor of Business Administration degree will also be offered in Blountville. Students, at King's Kingsport campus, have bachelor's degree options that include Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Healthcare Administration, and Nursing. Master's degree programs include Business Administration, and Psychology• The Master of Business Administration for Professionals is also available at the Kingsport campus. Southwest Virginia residents will have the opportunity to study for their bachelor's degrees in Business Administration in Big Stone Gap and Richlands. King's Knoxville campus at Hardin Valley offers area residents degree options including Pathway, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Interdisciplinary Studies, Communication, Applied Science, Psychology, and Nursing. Graduate programs include Business Administration and Education• Area residents in Morristown, Sevierville, Strawberry Plains, Blount County, and Harriman, Tenn., will have the opportunity to earn their degree Business Administration. King's Nashville campus, located in Franklin, Tenn., will offer greater Nashville-area students baccalaureate degrees in Business Administration, Applied Science, Criminal Justice, Information Technology, Psychology, Interdisciplinary Studies, Health Informatics, and Healthcare Administration, and Nursing: The Master of Business Administration for Professionals degree is also available to area residents.
